Now is the time to find a suitable venue for the convention. Last few years, all the cultural show pieces are being held in theatres and other activities in hotel conference room. At this time we should look for University or College theatres with a capacity to accommodate 900 people and have adjacent hotels with conference rooms that can accommodate 200 families.
We do not have much time. Please find out if you know any places as mentioned above that we can visit.

Do we need to setup a meeting to discuss this ? As this is an urgent item we can start our discussion via a conf call. Few venues that we can explore Atlantic Convention Center - Soumendra/Myself were browsing some info in the website.
Royal albert Palace - Don't have theater seat arrangement.
Prudential Center - Good if you have 10k+ people, > $50k
Here is a note from Dibakar Bhaina.
"I checked with McCarter Theater in Princeton for next year's convention and it will not be suitable to our needs for 2 reasons. First, there are no designated parking areas and secondly, there is no adequate facility for serving food"
In order to get all our functional requirements “under one roof”, Trenton is our only choice so far. The majestic look of Patriot Theater at War Memorial, I think will mark a 40th convention; and Marriott hotel is far better than Holiday Inn.
If we go for an impressive hotel, then we need to consider temporary stage and/or NB State theatre.
As per my knowledge, all other venue possibilities have been exhausted in NJ now.
