Convention Date
Since 4th July 2009 is a Saturday, I am told that the Jul 3rd (Fri) may be declared as a holiday. I checked few websites, which kind of inclining that way. If that is the case, we have to have the Convention on 3rd(Fri) and 4th(Sat) July and may be 2nd(Thu) for rehearsal. Hotel booking will start from 2nd July. - LM

It is either the previous day (friday) or the next business day (monday).
Looks like 3rd July will be declared as Federal Holiday (http://www.opm.gov/operating_status_schedules/fedhol/2009.asp)
Therefore, lets finalize the 2009 Convention date to be 3rd July(Fri) & 4th July(Thu).
